I do not practice traditional psychotherapy. My aim is to teach you how to effectively apply mindfulness to your daily lives. I have taken ancient techniques and tweaked them to be more applicable to modern day culture.
Focus on cognitive/emotional identification, non judgmental awareness, controlled breathing, unplugging, self kindness, and authentic engagement. We'll also discuss response vs reaction, as well as experience orientation vs outcome obsession.
Struggle with depression and/or anxiety. I also help people to find healthier alternatives to destructive behavioral patterns such as overeating, gambling, sex addiction, and various forms of self-sabotage.
I wanted to help ease the human experience through mindful awareness as opposed to labeling people with crippling diagnoses and prescribing them meds.
I will provide a safe and trusting environment for you to strengthen your understanding of self and improve your quality of life.
Therapy today is often overpriced and difficult to access. I started my own practice to break through these barriers and offer sliding scale pricing based on individual client means. I will do what I can to provide services to all who reach out.
